- Experience, training, and equipmentI started doing radio in college at Brandeis University, even voicing a high-pitched damsel in distress for a commercial radio promo. However, my more recent experience is as a television and radio reporter. I am looking to break into voice over work. Brandeis University, BA University of Miami, MA I have a Behringer audio mixer and Adobe Audition I know that television news and voice overs are very different but in news narration, we do have to change our tone, speed and emphasis based on subject matter. I am also a classically trained singer with a wide musical range. I also participate in musical theater, performing in a charity show called The Inner Circle Show, put on by journalists in the New York market.
