Theater In the theater, Ros’ many roles have ranged from Snow White to the Wicked Witch of the West, from the Countess of Rousillion in All’s Well That Ends Well to Joyce in The Sum of Us and have included four one- woman shows. I have received extensive training as an actor. The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Australia is a 3 year, full time course where I worked on all aspects of performance; dance, mime and movement, many genres and styles of acting (with many of the top directors in the country at the time) and daily voice classes that included accents from all over the world, articulation, projection, breath-work and techniques for stage tv/film and radio. A comprehensive foundation to a subsequent 35+ year career in the industry. Voiceover for animation with the extraordinary Bob Bergen and the wonderful Ginny Mc Swain Singing with the phenomenal Per Bristow who knows how to FREE the authentic voice better than anyone I’ve found so far out there. Workshops/classes with various coaches in Los Angeles. As an acting coach, voice work is a key ingredient to my training of young acting talent and I have to be able to ‘walk the talk’…so to speak. Over 35 years working my voice as an actor across all mediums has provided lots of training ‘on the job’ as well!
