About Roger
I am possessed of a naturally deep and warmly resonant baritone with exceptionally strong fundamentals; i.e, I produce a very large and round sound. Years of training and work on the stage have produced a tone and tembre unlike any other I have heard. It is also very flexible, equally adept at straight narration, folksy talk, and comedy.

I am also trained in command voice; that is, I can do a "drill sergeant" that'll stop traffic. I do a variety of character voices, most notably the Sidekick, a Gabby Hayes turn.
- Experience, training, and equipmentI first worked on radio as a teenager, when people began to comment on my voice. In the intervening years I have recorded various voice-overs, spots, narrations, and sundry other bits. I am a full-time actor and writer, best known for the character Sam Singleton. I studied voice and diction under noted Broadway dialect coach David Stern in addition a lifetime of independent work on my voice. Sony Sound Forge recording and mastering suite. RODE studio microphone. I worked for many years in professional sound reinforcement. I am unfazed by crowds.
