In the fall of 2011, I completed a curriculum with respect to voice-acting through the auspices of Voice Coaches of Albany New York. At the end of the classes, a demo was produced which included both narrative and commercial tracks.
In my prior career at New York State Division of Criminal Justices Services(DCJS), Office of Funding and Program Development, I was intimately involved with contracts that were executed between public and private sector agencies and DCJS. US Department of Justice grants were awarded to agencies that developed programs that created a positive and supportive atmosphere for at-risk or potentially at-risk juveniles in New York State. My responsibilities included providing technical assistance to grantees on both the fiscal and programmatic components of the grants and also making sure the agencies were both fiscally and programmatically compliant. In addition, I was able to develop certain skills such as public speaking, coordinating and facilitating conference related workshops and speakers, and help create and modify documents such as a Request For Proposal.
