About Robert
Warm, friendly, sincere. Authoritative or fun and points in between on documentaries and narration. Experienced with commercials, trailers, imaging and promos and commercials.
Character voices can be excited, serious, newsreel and new reader-ish, mock seriousness, etc.
Recent work includes narration of the Discovery Network show 'Mythbusters', as well as dozens of documentaries, such as 'Flip it Fast', 'Medical Incredible' and countless commercials, including LG (red couch), Discovery Mythbuster Promos, Carlton Draught, Fantastic Noodles, Toyota Yaris, and many more.
I've had the announcer role (usually situated under the stairs somewhere at the back of the venu) at the 2006, 2007 and 2008 MTV Australia Video Music Awards (VMAs).
Have access to ISDN, and full working voice and production studio to facilitate excellent quality recordings shipped to you down the line, on cd, or via FTP, etc.

- Experience, training, and equipmentWith 25 years experience in voicework in Sydney, Australia, as a voice artist I've done just about everything at some stage or other. These include playing a newsreader in more than one movie, live tv announcer work, radio work, commercial spots for hundreds of national and international brands, movie ads, radio and tv promos, tv narration. I'm also the voice of Discovery Channel's Mythbusters. Experience in radio and tv, production, copywriting, announcing and along the way voicing many commercials, promos, narrations and other jobs.
