"Reverend" Andy began his broadcasting career in August of 2003 when he joined Georgia State University's radio station - Album 88. All his life, he's had a interest to work in radio and when the chance to do so came along while working on his degree in Journalism, he took the bull by the horns. In August of 2004, Andy created a show dedicated to his passion - rockabilly music - gaining himself notoriety in the local and regional music scene.
In 2009, Andy was approached by Garage 71 to become the latest member of their rockabilly/surf broadcasting show. In a short time, he has become one of the most recognizable voices in rockabilly radio, known for his "rock and roll" approach to broadcasting and irreverent style of presentation - often compared to Wolfman Jack and Alan Freed.
When he's not on the air, he can be found booking names such as the Psycho DeVilles, Twistin' Taratulas, Three Bad Jacks, and Wanda Jackson around the Southeast. The Reverend is an avid fan of rockabilly and early rock 'n' roll music from the last 60 years.
I have permanent access to a full professional studio.
At home I use a Blue Snowball to record my work digitally.
