My first gig as a voice talent was a radio ad promoting tourism in Bali in which I voiced (in both English and Indonesian) four different characters - a professional chef, a surfer, a sculptor and a businessman - all using Balinese accent.
My second gig was a television ad for an acne-curing product, voicing the main character, teenager with acne problems.
Since I'm mostly a freelance worker, these pretty much represents the kind of voice-over jobs I normally do. Having said that, I'm always looking for ways to improve myself and broaden my experience.
I graduated from the University of Indonesia, in which I was an active member of the theater club. I played Raoul in a musical performance of Phanntom of the Opera in a national Universities theater festival. We won third place out of 48 participating Universities.
Aside from my training in theatrical vocal characterization, I also took singing lessons for one full year.
I'm currently a journalist at an Indonesian-based English language publication.
