I have been a voice talent on-air for over 20 years. I have voiced marketing on hold projects and many voice over gigs for both radio, television, internet and websites as well as marketing on hold, in store and POS overhead voice marketing and training videos, tutorials, commercial, informational and PSA announcements, ads and campaigns. I take pride in being prepared, on-time and reliable as a voicing engineer/talent.
Attended Greenville Technical for 2 years and started out as an intern at a a local classic rock station for a few months and then became fully employed as an on-air disc jockey, production assistant, promotions assistant, news director and character voice and talent “Lovely Rita Meter Maid.” I wanted to learn all aspects of the business and how to sell, create and produce commercials, news, stories, movies, documentaries, film, voicing and production and any and all aspects of Voice Acting/Talent, Writing and production therein. From GTC, I transferred to Winthrop University to get my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in broadcasting, production engineering and journalism. While at WU, I became the Program Director of Winthrop’s Radio Station. After graduating, I put my degree to goodness use and went to work at Muzak LLC and worked various projects in the Muzak Voice Department and was the Voice Talent for a variety of businesses and organizations. Additionally, I honed a lot of my skills when it came to customer service, branding, script writing, copywriting, production, engineering, voicing, voice overs, and team work. I loved learning about the latest in production, music, branding and getting to know the clients I worked with and learning all about their product and services and what they wanted to promote in their marketing, their brand and message from start to finish. Not to mention the awesome family of co-workers and a great clientale.
