I have worked in voice over related roles throughout my professional career. Not in the sense of producing radio, TV, audiobooks or other known voice over products. But I have used my voice in customer facing and phone driven occupations in which the tone, tempo, volume and pitch of my voice strongly determined the success or failure of the work I did. As fate would have it, my career started in telecommunications working in technical support and project management positions in which clear and concise communication was essential in developing major networks for the internet. After a reduction in force compelled me to reinvent myself, I began a career in finance and wealth management using insurance as a method of creating generational wealth.
