A great portion of my professional career involved speaking with customers indirectly over the phone, and I'd received a lot of positive feedback from my sound alone from that front. It seemed at least thrice a week, someone would tell me to DJ at the radio station, or do voice-overs. I still recall the call a customer who had stopped me in my tracks just after my required opening dialogue, something I'd performed hundreds of times about the same way, and she tells me that I'm the sexiest sounding thing in existence... I mean, at the time (I was), because I was being recorded for 'quality assurance,' I had that first feeling of 'yeah, alright', immediately following the 'IM BEING RECORDED FOR WORK' kicked in. My reply was the antithesis of the opening, more of a higher-octave stumbling mess (was by design, we disengaged each other's self-defense mechanism, and I made a LOT of commission in the long term.)
As a hobby, I like to perform vocal mimicry; Characters of shows and their lines. My range is quite extensive.
I'm also an amateur musician, self-taught on instruments like guitar and xylophone, drums and a modest Triangle.
I personally believe that I'd be an excellent singer as well, I'm just too shy to try outside of my personal bubble of people I know. I'm also an electronics enthusiast, a computer genius, a general knowledge expert, and
I still receive compliments on a somewhat regular basis. 'Go on the radio! Start a podcast! etc.'... I'm not really a social media kind of person, but neither was Mel Blanc. I'm currently a truck driver, with talents languishing away.
Arin Hansen sent me here indirectly, he used this website as a punchline to a joke. Little did he know that I would use it as a mechanism for financial gain! *insert evil laugh*
