Quy Le (pronounced “Kwee Lee”, he/him) was born and raised in Vancouver, BC.
In 2023, at Vancouver Acting School, Quy undertook 24 weeks of voiceover training under coach Sarah Troyer (My Little Pony, Supernatural), developing his overall acting abilities and vocal ranges. In addition to learning his own voice and a range of fun, creative and compelling voices, Quy also learned how to dissect a script, allowing him to put intention into every line and every word to give the scene the proper emotion and nuance they deserve.
Genres in animation, video games, and anime Quy is perfectly suited for include: fantasy, fighting games, role-playing games, action and adventure, Shonen anime (ie: Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, etc.), super heroes and villains, animation for kids and young adults, comedy, sci-fi, and drama (ie: Last of Us, The Walking Dead, etc.).
In commercial work, Quy offers a friendly, conversational tone in English-US/Canadian, and vocal ranges that covers young adult to deep and rich. In addition to his voiceover training, Quy also holds a background in Marketing, so he knows what sells, how to sell it, and what the audience wants to hear in a commercial.
Outside of the voice acting booth, you can find Quy playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends and fellow voice actors. He also works as a Career Coach, where he uses his voice to provide relatable, practical, and persuasive coaching to those seeking work. He’s worked in tourism as a kayak guide and as a travel consultant. He volunteered for marine conservation groups where he educated the public on marine biology and ocean conservation initiatives.
Whether you are looking for your next Disney prince, the big bad wolf, main protagonist, sidekick, or selling something awesome, Quy offers the acting believability, vocal range, and confidence to ensure your next project resonates and hits the ear of your intended audience with the desired effect.
