As a child, I was a regular mynah bird. I prided myself on being able to imitate anyone's voice and accent. I perfected this with a cassette tape recorder, the radio/tv and my overactive imagination. Needless to say, acting, voiceovers and jingles were a natural progression. More than anything else, I really enjoyed becoming that voice and somehow convincing the listener that it wasn't me that they heard.
I sang and did jingles and radio promo work while in college. Once in NYC, I continued to sing and demo jingles at several production houses, including Sacred Noise. My first voiceover work was for the HBO film "Lackawanna Blues" with director George C. Wolfe. In one afternoon, I was a playful child, a wildly orgasmic woman, an irate and confrontational neighbor, a drunken party-goer and a distracted elderly patient.
Corporate voiceover work includes Dermabond as well as Ethicon/Shaping Futures. I was "Elephant" on season one and season two of the critically acclaimed PBS' "WordWorld" and most recently I voiced the roles of Whale, Baby Chicken and the singing voice of jazz vocalist Billie Holiday on Nickelodeon's Peg + Cat.

Currently, I am using a professional microphone with my Mac iBook G4 and can produce and send MP3s, among other sound files, to prospective clients primarily for audition purposes. With 24 to 48 hours notice, I do have access to a 16 track studio with a whisper room in midtown Manhattan with much more refined audio capabilities.
