About Theo
Author, narrator, storyteller of entertaining tales big and small. Twice-immigrant, polite outlaw-wannabe funny man from the Pacific Northwest now living in Helsinki, Finland. Active in VO since voicing -- dubiously -- my own first book in 2022. (Don't worry - I'm better now) Producer of over a dozen titles for Audible.

Bilingual, fluent in English/Russian with a neutral North-American/General accent and smooth, controlled delivery and crystal-clear diction. Former healthcare and court interpreter with a knack for medical and legal jargon. Experienced Audiobook producer with a special interest in Commercial, Documentary, Educational/Explainer and Video Games.
As a writer, I've spent a minute or two on getting into the minds and skins (figuratively, of course!) of characters to make them more genuine, relatable, and realistic across a variety of genres.
After voicing and producing my first novel, I discovered a new passion in voice acting and went all-in. After building up from scratch to a fully-equipped studio, I've produced a dozen audiobooks for Audible before joining a VO Community of like-minded enthusiasts, and have never looked back. With 1-on-1 voice training from the awesome Jesse Carroll of https://jessecarrollvo.com/ and Dave Bisson of Adventures in voice acting and author of Authentic Commercial Voiceover, I am rapidly expanding my repertoire and experience of commercial voiceover projects.
