I am the Rugby radio voice for BBC Radio Surrey broadcasting live pre and post-match interviews, match updates and a rugby roundup feature on Saturdays throughout the Rugby season.
I trained and recorded my voiceover showreel with Steve Hudson of VoiceMaster.
I am also a presenter for Radio Redhill a local Hospital radio Station.
I have been the Rugby correspondent for BBC Southern Counties radio for 5 years and a presenter for Hospital Radio for 3 years.
I have received one to one training from the Sports Editor at BBC Southern counties radio, specific Voice training with Steve Hudson at VoiceMaster and training as a broadcaster by the Hospital radio themselves.
I am comfortable in front of a microphone and am told I take direction well. I am equally happy broadcasting live or making a recording.
As I report 'live' for local radio I have had to adapt quickly to changes to the running schedule, and have had plenty of exposure to technical gremlins!!
I have used standard ISDN radio kit as well as a Comrex Matrix Portable.
