ABOUT ME Phil has been captivating audiences for 15 years, thanks to his natural flair for storytelling, his warming tonalities and his wonderful use of character voices. Born in Reading, Berkshire, UK, Phil was brought up by 2 cockney parents and started to develop the ability to speak in many different accents and characters from a very early age. As a young boy, he discovered he also had the gift of perfect musical pitch. This, along with his uncanny ability to use his voice in varied and creative ways, has always driven him to continuously seek new challenges to further develop his aptitude and voice skills. While achieving a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre and Performance from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Phil consistently received extremely positive feedback and praise for his ability to recognise and replicate different accents, and for his ability to impersonate different people’s voices. Combined with an exquisite singing voice and his perfect musical pitch, Phil a rare talent indeed and an incredible asset for any voice production need. After graduation, Phil spent several years performing within the professional theatre industry, touring the world and appearing in London shows, continuously learning and further developing his voice, his delivery and his skills in bringing life to characters even in cases where the scripts did not help! He’s also an established backing vocalist and has sung at venues such as the O2 and Manchester Arena whilst also travelling Europe and America with the 12 tenors. His innate ability to produce voices to suit any genre is a talent that, combined with his vocal and acting skills, would be a great contribution to any voice work requirements, thanks to the warmth of his delivery and his global vocal appeal, especially for work requiring imitation and accents, and where needed, the correct dose of humour, whether for selling a product, giving voice to animations or cartoon, or delivering professional style narration to any footage. Phil has his own home recording studio in Windsor, UK, and has the capability to deliver the highest quality recordings and voiceovers anywhere in the world.
