The German actress and musician Petra Rochau is working for many years as a professional voice artist in Barcelona. She has lent her voice in German and Spanish to numerous series, commercials, animated works and radio/TV spots, as well as to many international movies. She also works as a dubbing author, linguistic supervisor and casting director. Furthermore, she composed for her linguistic studies at the University of Cologne/ Germany a scientific thesis about the limitations/boundaries and possibilities of translation in general with particular consideration to dubbing. Apart of her passion for the right tone and sound she is a romantic art apologist and truly bound to artistic expressions in all genres. She has been travelling around Europe with her own theatre productions (La Calva Clavel, Vino Básico, Dádivas, The Chimp Show); and all over the world (New Zealand, Japan, USA, Australia, Singapore, Israel...) with the theatre companies Osadía and Circus Klezmer.
