My experience lie in that I just started immitating different voices.
I have tried to get into radio but They werent in the market for new talent. I tried to go through family and some friends but to no avail.
I have held many jobs but not for voice over work, I am a tattoo artist of 15 years prof. I have written several books and published one.
I am in the process of getting a demo of My different voices recorded, My roomate is a musician but doesnt quite have the type of equipment I need to complete My voice over demo.
I am confident that when I am heard people will be pleased at the difference in versatility that I have.
So You could say that I have been training My voice for years, but no formal training.
I will find Myself immitating different commercials, Movie trailers, cartoon voices.
I have made up My own voices as well. It's something I have wanted to do for a long time, and have been told by My friends and family that I should have been a stand up comic.
As far as journalism goes I write all the time, songs, poems, & short stories.
I worked at several Tattoo studios for most of My professional tattooing history, I have ran and owned My own studio for a year.
I worked at a computer co. for 4 and a half years I had My own dept. I worked as a telemarketer for a year, I ran My own telecomm business for 2 years which resulted in making a few hundred calls a day to promote, market, recruit and set meetings with my team. I was consulted on to lead the conference calls because of My technique on mirroring the client, prospect whom ever.
