I am a music & radio producer with over a decade’s industry experience in presenting, DJing, commercial voice over, original music production, conceptual radio, sound design and remixing.
I have over 6 years experience in radio presenting, earning me a reputation for a “great radio voice”, with an ability to adopt different tones.
I have a degree in Creative Music Technology, with a solid understanding of the recording process and studio techniques.
My final major project was an ambitious radio collage, and was awarded top marks for it’s inventiveness.
After graduating, I started volunteering at Bristol’s Ujima 98 FM, eventually hosting a specialist music show regularly for over 5 years. I voiced many adverts for the station and local organisations along the way.
Currently I produce and present a monthly show on Bristol's Noods Radio, selecting new music and original experimental vocal pieces.
Through my shows I have performed many interviews, and am confident with microphone technique.
Also during my time with Ujima I attended training at the BBC where I was able to further enhance my skills in core elements of radio production, such as trails, menus and teasers.
I have always enjoyed playing a round with speaking in character, and enjoy improvising with different voices, as listed above.
Now I believe I have enough experience and confidence in all these foundations to use my voice to explore new vocal adventures.
