- Experience, training, and equipmentI have been doing voiceovers for a few years. I have recently done various commercial projects including a set of national Lowe's commercials and I also produce comedy videos that require voice work. I studied comedy and acting at The Second City Theater in Chicago and have worked with a variety of voice over producers as a means of training. I perform comedy in Chicago in improv, sketch, and plays. I have a Blue Yeti mic with multiple recording capabilities (inc. pop stand) as well as a Pyle PSIB27 sound recording booth box. The audio software I use is Garage Band. I write and have written a lot of scripts for comedy sketches and short plays that have been performed on stage in Chicago and can use these skills to help with copy if need be.
