- Experience, training, and equipmentI am a media-savvy ex-journalist and public relations consultant with eight years experience in these fields. My voiceover training consists of undertaking a course run by a seasoned seasoned voice-over artist at a working studio in Soho, London. My experience consists of being a member of a speech-making club (Toastmasters International) and of amateur dramatics. I have done voluntary work recording news items onto cassette for the blind community for a period of 18 months and have dee-jayed on hospital radio at Charing Cross for a year and a half too. In addition I've performed the role of show announcer at an ERT Weekly exhibition held at the NEC, Birmingham. I also do freelance work as a trainer and mentor so performance and voice projection are second nature.
