Omar is a voice actor living in Los Angeles. As a natural speaker and performer his entire life, Omar's voice has been described as versatile, friendly, well-spoken, intelligent, casual, fun, and full of energy! He is incredibly comfortable behind a microphone and loves collaborating to make sure each and every job gets done the right way. Whether it's recording down-to-earth conversational reads for Commercials, making a fool out of himself for more over-the-top and silly characters in Animated media, or delivering vital educational information for E-learning and Medical projects, Omar takes each one just as seriously making sure to provide the utmost quality for you so that your project gets what it needs to communicate effectively to an audience. Omar’s natural voice is mid-range with an effortless light-heartedness and smile that comes through in his reads; perfect for your friendly neighbor or relatable every day guy. He also excels at adolescent/naive hero characters and loves to explore the full range of his vocal skills with deeper more commanding voices as well as various character voices from Orcs and Demonic creatures to stereotypical nerds, cartoony scientists, and more! With his experience performing in a multitude of different mediums from on-stage larger than life hero characters, silly and ridiculous improv-based characters on National Television, and voiceover/ADR in many projects (most recently 'Summertime' with Director of the Disney Film Raya), Omar has acquired a wide range of experience that makes him comfortable in every situation. In addition to Acting, Omar has also been a lifelong musician. With 15+ years playing guitar, piano, and ukulele, as well as being a Music Major in College, Omar is able to find the music and rhythm of your Copy and give it the timing that it needs so that the reads never feel too slow or too rushed. This makes sure that every point and punchline lands perfectly. After living in the UAE as a child, traveling to Dubai and Egypt dozens of times, and listening to his Egyptian Father speak to him his entire life, Omar has developed a fantastic Middle-Eastern accent that leans toward Egyptian/Iranian. In addition, Omar loves to consume non-English Media from Japanese Anime to Hong Kong cinema. He is also currently learning Spanish and Arabic (Egyptian Dialect). This multi-cultural background and interest allows Omar to read and pronounce non-english words/names with the ease of a native of that culture.
