Well, it all started in college. One fine day at Bowling Green State University Nick Hoffman was helping the school basketball team with drills. A gentleman observing the practice walked up to Nick and asked some questions regarding how the practice was going, small chit chat. After realizing how pleasing and boisterous Nick's voice was he asked if Nick would like to announce the women's basketball games for the university. Blown away, Nick vehemently agreed and a fire was started.
Recognizing now the he has this talent that people like to hear, Nick pursued this new passion. Enrolling in undergraduate acting classes, he learned about the stage and even found his way onto it. Landing rolls in productions such as, Willie Loman (Death of A Salesman) and Captain Condom (Not Ready For Bedtime Players).
My training includes undergraduate classes in stage and theater as well as roles in several plays. I have announced basketball games for Bowling Green State University and the University of Massachusetts. During my work as a school counselor at Fairborn High School, I announced the morning and afternoon broadcasts. Equally important, as a middle school counselor we made a podcast regarding Internet Security for the students.
Currently, I am working in an elementary school teaching autistic kids social skills. On the side I run a fitness center and pool for a local private country club. My passion is helping people regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, and ability. I have the ability to help people by using my voice and that is what I plan to do. If you want someone who is passionate about what they do and takes great pride in their work, than I'm your guy.
