- Experience, training, and equipmentI started training my voice in 1981 at the Broadcast Center in St. Louis. In my radio career I've allways excelled at recording voice overs. I prefer to relax and read copy at a natural pace, but I can rush it and cram a lot of extra copy into the alotted time and still sound smooth. In adition to being a dj/announcer on the radio I'm also a cabinetmaker. That means I'm very familiar with the tools and jargon surrounding the construction field.
