I began working as a voiceover artist in 2018, but began working with my voice as a vocalist in bands starting in 2002. Additionally, throughout a 10 year career in sales, I honed my public speaking and presentation skills and also performed occasional voiceover work for promotional videos that were used in our online platforms.
I am a graduate of the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. While I majored in Mechanical Engineering, I took several recording classes as electives that encouraged my love for being in the studio. In 2000-2001, I took acting lessons through a local agency in Cleveland, Ohio, and began performing in local theater.
After college, I pursued music as a profession, performing with several bands over a period of 8 years as a vocalist and guitarist.
In 2018, I began my voiceover artist training with Lesley Bailey of Voiceover Gurus in Portland, Oregon.
I am capable of creating professional recordings on my own and have a recording studio set up at home with a StudiobricksOne vocal booth, an MXL 990 condenser mic, and Sterling PF1 pop filter. I record directly to a MAC via a Shure X2U adapter and Adobe Audition software.
