About Chaka
I am an artist, in the truest since. I paint ( on canvas & digital ). I draw. I dabble in clay & polymer sculpting ( I'll find more time for it, maybe, hopefully, at some point ). I write. I do photography ( LOVE it ). I act & I am a filmmaker ( really LOVE this ). I love telling stories & hearing them. I've been doing voice impersonations since I was a child. Imitating lines from movies. Imitating the voices of my favorite rappers. Sometimes, just for kicks, I would speak with a different accent when I was out & about. As a father I would give voices to the different characters of books I read at bed time for my daughter. I've done public speaking & people have always told me I have a powerful voice. My school teachers use to say to me "Chaka, you can't whisper". Yeah, my elementary school teachers. I think my voice skip the whole puberty thing. I've always wanted to do voice overs & voice acting. I think it was born from my love of animation. I love watching animation. I've done VO's for myself. On videos I've posted on social media. Now I'm ready to take the big leap. I'm ready to learn, grow & soar at this. I feel that I can.
