I have been the imaging voice of college internet radio station, CCKC the Platypus for 2 years. This station is in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada and broadcasts online. I've also worked in commercial radio for 3 years in production and on air, voicing many commercials & station promos that requires a diversity of vocal abilities and performances. In addition to this, I made vocal cameos on a rock album by the band Alice Stops Time where I played the part of numerous truck drivers, a police officer and a dark demon like voice.
Radio & Television Arts broadcast program (graduated in '07), Recording Arts music/sound for film/live sound production program (graduated in '08).
In my home studio I have two different microphones I use to do voice work. First is the Rode NT2-A large diaphragm condenser mic, second is the Shure 55SH unidyne vocal mic. After choosing a mic, I follow this signal path: True Systems P-Solo preamp, Empirical Labs EL8 Distressor (compressor), Pro Tools MBox 2 Pro. Once in Pro Tools, I use a Solid State Logic equalizer and a limiter.
