My favorite work has been the challenging jobs with English and Spanish. As I shared earlier, I am the voice on our transit system, and both languages were required. The junior college here, Monterey Peninsula College, for television commercial advertising, also required Spanish.
All of the phone lines, from, Carmel Meat Co., with "slabs of maple bacon" to the wonderful Spa on the Plaza and auvedic masks, I love all of the telephone work.
I enjoy voice over and actual acting in television commercials. I have been lucky to be cast in a few great ads, from Coca Cola to The Fisherman's Grotto.
This is interesting and rewarding work. I am honored to be considered to represent your product!
Much of my training, I've stumbled onto by being cast for a job. Aside from this, I acquired a vocal coach, for both Spanish and English. I also trained musically with two very strong singing coaches, one from a Broadway career.
I decided to take as many training courses as I could find at our college here. This lead to stage involvement, and valuable technical learnings. It helped with my singing as well.
I've been interview on television quite a few times, oddly enough. From the debut locally of my music video, to the Today Show's feature on Breast Cancer.
As you can read, I'm never bored.
I have full studio use 5 days a week.
I am adaptable and fun to work with while very focused.
I have a God given energy reservoir, and am a perfectionist. Somehow, this works for me in voice over and all performance endeavors.
