I have been singing for various bands for the past 10 years, my current band is, "Alien Jones." About a year ago I started serving tables. In this line of work you meet a lot of people and the one thing that I heard most was that these people loved the sound of my voice. At first I shrugged of the compliments until one day I decided to audition for our local radio (KJHK) where I immediately landed a job for voice over advertising. KJHK would send me a script and I would lay my voice over some background music through Protools, bounce it, and then email it back to the studio. This persisted for some months but people around me tell me that I need to be heard even louder, so I'm willing to try most things!
I graduated last year with a bachelors in psychology which was added on to my minor in French that I earned while abroad in Angers, France from 2011-2012. I'm a self taught voice actor. It was challenging getting started, but I'm in a good place now.
I use a Rhodes condenser mic with Protools 7 LE... I know that I need to upgrade.
I'm nice yet determined, and I'm easy to work with. Once I invest in something I keep on investing and I never look back.
