About Nathalie
I am an enthusiastic voiceover artist with a wide range of vocal skills from professional and authoritative to animated and playful. My past work includes promo work and audiobook narration (Murder Mystery and young adult fantasy). Whether you're seeking to bring out the empathy of your audience, or to portray an unhinged animation character, I can be the voice for your project. I am trilingual (native English and French, fluent Russian) with basic Spanish. Having grown up in an international setting, I have always had a good ear for languages and enjoyed emulating other characters and accents.
My passion for voiceovers started at an early age, making home videos parodying bad-quality Russian film dubbing. I later had the opportunity to do live English dubbing of Indiana Jones in Russian cinemas (doing all the character voices!!) and have now started to get more involved in the industry. Character voices is something I have had daily practice in since childhood as my sister and I have always had different voices for our various cats!
I have a Youtube Channel where I regularly post videos about British pronunciation, and I can do voiceovers in neutral British English and accented English, as well as French or Russian.
I am efficient and respectful in all my communications with clients. I am easy to work with, respond to clients quickly and will not challenge client feedback. With 10 years of experience as a speech and language therapist / voice therapist I am used to coaching clients on how to optimise and vary their vocal delivery, and giving presentations about voice care to patient groups in a clear and engaging way. I am also a singer, and could as an additional service provide jingles (my sister and I created a jingle, which we sing in harmony, for our Youtube channel).
I am based in London (UK) and have a home recording studio. The equipment I use is a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Generation audio interface with Focusrite Scarlett condenser microphone. The DAW I use is Audacity.
