My love of voice work started early in my career as a copywriter. I loved acting out scripts and providing guide tracks on commercials and videos. I was even asked by a few clients to audition for a couple of the spots that I wrote. Being on the other side of the glass gave me a tremendous understanding of how everything works. It also gave me that thick skin you absolutely have to have in this business.
From there, I began to hone my skill and have since landed an online commercial for Telus, a radio commercial for Trent University, a number of corporate videos and case study voiceovers, and various small parts on several Mondo Bite Cartoons, including Crack Duck and Terrificland.
While studying Psychology at the University of Windsor, I took a couple of acting classes, ranging from beginner to intermediate level. I've also taken several one-on-one acting classes with 2 of the most reputable voice coaches in Toronto.
I have a home studio that includes an Audio Technica 2020 Cardiod Condenser Microphone, a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Interface and Audacity Recording Software.
