I didn't have any 'professional' experience before my first voice over job from voice 123. However, I was given the opportunity to do a recording for a band and it turned out to be a great success. Everyone was shocked to learn it was my first professional VO job, and I know I gave them far beyond what they were expecting! Not only was it an excellent experience as far as going to a recording studio, but the attitudes and constructive criticism they offered really gave my confidence a boost - as well as laughing at all of my funny voices and jokes.
I speak in different voices throughout the day, and everywhere I go people find them entertaining and humorous, and I am complimented on the accuracy of many many voices throughout the week. I've learned to shape my voice both by imitation and rehearsal, and being aware of the reaction it illicits in those around me. I always push myself to create more voices. I also learn by analyzing the speech of those I come into contact with day to day.
I play many instruments and write music everyday. I am a talented writer and can add any flare necessary to make a script stand-out. I thoroughly enjoy my work and give 300% in everything I undertake. I enjoy interacting with those I work with as much as the satisfaction I recieve from a job well-done.
