About Maayan
(she/her)Hi, I'm Maayan, pronounced "my yawn"! Came to VO viA the opera world. I love animation with my whole heart and my day-to-day is full of commercials and video games. I like to connect with people, tell stories, and circumvent your brain to hit you directly in the feels.
With a background in opera, voiceover, theater and film, my voice is flexible, with very fine-tuned control and a wide speaking range. I have a clear, somewhat generic natural accent from growing up in northern California.
My skillset includes commercial, animation (my favorite), video games, legal, promo and corporate VO. Speed is my specialty — I can speak extremely quickly.
I have a home booth setup in an acoustically treated space that includes a Neumann TLM 103 mic, Apollo Solo interface, MacBook, high-speed internet and ethernet, Audacity, Source-Connect (maayanvoss) and Zoom.
