About Matthew
I’m a voice-over talent, audio production engineer, and native of the DC Metro area. I completed my training as an audio production engineer at the school at which I currently teach, Omega Studios School, Rockville, MD. Also, I have a bachelors at the R.H. Smith School of Business and I've had the honor to work with major companies, film makers, and Grammy winning artists from around the world.
My day job is overseeing technical training operations for the Federal Reserve, where I regularly make training videos using my voice. To prepare the voice actors, I record all of then voice parts, including the voice-overs, and use different accents to signify a change in actor. I do this to best communicate the intent of the video before the other cast members get involved. This has stretched my ability to mimic many different vocal styles. My best accents are British and American.
I use a Blue Yeti microphone and the software Camtasia to make very clean audio recordings for these videos which I also edit.
With my 15+ years as an audio engineer, I have perfected the skill of recording my voice in various styles.
I also have over 15 years of entrepreneurial business experience as an audio engineer, project manager, and a proven track record of sustained, high-quality work. I know what it means to be reliable and deliver on time.
For the past six years, I have used my voice to teach music business as adjunct faculty at the Omega Studios School and I have a passion for helping adult learners with their career development.
