My experience runs the gamut in radio and TV, from kid's television programs to anchoring the 6 o'clock news. As a radio host with CBC-Radio-Canada for 17 years, I had the opportunity to host every program in the weekly program schedule, from the morning show to the drive home. I also hosted a national music program in 2001-2002 and narrated many radio documentaries that aired both regionally and nationally. My television experience spans 10 years, with jobs ranging from travel reporting to comedy sketches to anchoring the 6 o'clock news. From 2003-2005, I appeared in 78 episodes of a children's TV program called Paul & Suzanne, putting my singing and character voice talents to work as I interacted with puppets. In december 2005, I put an end to my career at CBC-Radio-Canada to pursue my true passion as a voice actor. Almost everything I learned as a voice over talent I learned at the CBC, as well as other free lance voice over jobs I've done over the past 20 years. As well, I honed my writing and reporting skills, which I believe help me to give better voice over performances. My formal training includes a commercial radio school diploma (Promedia in Montreal Canada) as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies and History from the University of Manitoba. I also studied voice and worked professionally as a pop and jazz singer in the mid 80s before turning to broadcasting, earning an honorable mention in a national singing contest in Canada. In June 2007, I studied character voice acting with Paul Liberti at Edge Studios in New York.
