Raised a family as a firefighter's wife - Returning to the business for my "Second Act."
My show business career began as an aspiring singer and musical theater performer taking me from Spokane to Los Angeles where I appeared in television commercials and guest appearances in situation comedies and film. As a vocalist, I continued to perform in nightclubs and Top 40 bands, traveling to Canada and Tokyo.
In “real life”, I married a firefighter, raised 2 sons, cared for my husband’s special needs brother and began speaking and singing in prisons all throughout the country for three national prison ministries. I also focused on “songwriting” and had the opportunity to record and release a CD, (“My Journey Here”), three singles (“You Are My Life”, “I Will Be with You,” Take Me Back”) and produced two music videos (“Take Me Back” and “Much Trouble).
After our sons launched,” it was time to give acting another “go”. I signed up for training and began my journey. To date, I have voiced several IVRs for various online companies and was recently featured as a supporting voiceover artist in two episodes of the Documentary “Murf the Surf” on MGM+. I am currently voicing a biography and a series of workbooks for Second Chance Recovery, an L.A. County recognized probation program.
I enjoy using my voice and acting ability to bring life to what others have created. I believe that my creativity, sense of humor, musical/acting background and life experiences will bring a special nuance to every project/opportunity I find myself to be a part of – You won’t be disappointed! Here's to Chapter 2!
