I currently work for a major polling organization in the country. I handle approximately 300 calls per shift (part-time) and deal with a plotted script (VERY little variation allowed, although I do know how to 'read' a person and get results).
I handle calls professionally, and get approximately 20% more respondents than my counterparts.
I deal with people in a 'please and thank you' manner, and get many "thanks!" for my being 'people-friendly'.
Moving backward, I was recording P.S.A'S for NPO's and NFP's organizations. I'd be given a script (and Flyer) by email and would tailor it down to less than 2 minutes for broadcast/internet airwave use to over 50 airwave/internet stations. I've never had anything but good feedback.

I have a home recording studio with top-notch gear. I've been doing home-recording since 1972, (The days of "Reel to Reel" overdubs).
I've done poetry reads in my studio, as well as coached others who were reading.
i've synced original music to those projects, as well as musical projects with great success.
Self-taught in audio recording since 1997. I currently run a home studio with Logic for Mac, and top I have top of the line equipment. I play guitar, keys, bass, drums, percussion, blues harp, mandolin, et.al. The most important is my voice.
I have a fairly-recent 5 week comprehensive Local Cable Access Production certificate.
In the past, at Sikorsky Aircraft, I assisted in putting together a 50-member team "Safety Awareness Parade" including a custom Safety Theme song I recorded with multiple contributors. The president of the company was a 'classical guy', but at the end of 7 shop tours, he was dancing like a pro.
The taping was such a hit that they showed it at the "Gold Building" in Hartford to a big round of applause.
I also produced music for a video of Sikorsky's 'kick-off' program. I interspersed live, audio, and visual presentations.
