About Michael

After many years in the corporate world, I've returned to performing on stage, on screen, and in the voice studio. I've been very active in community and children's theatre in my new home in Taos, New Mexico, and have been working as both a background actor and lead actor in television and film.
As a voice actor, I've mainly been focusing on audiobooks, although I have done work in commercials also.
The characters I develop are typically unique and engaging - especially including the narrator - who inhabit those rich and absorbing moments so carefully created by the author.
My creative nerdiness is particularly suited for comedy and mystery/thrillers. Although, because of my many years as an IT application administrator and technical project manager, putting life and passion into technical or professional tomes, reports or textbooks brings me great joy and satisfaction.
My natural male tenor voice can have a touch of nasal delivery, with a wide variety of tones. I also have an aptitude to create and carry strong female character voices. My vocal style is enthusiastic, articulate, and friendly with elements of quirky or wry humor and suspense, as needed.
When not in my 'mattress fort' sound booth, I can be found reading comic books, singing and dancing along to punk rock, or watching the New York Jets embodying man's existential struggle, on the football field.
