When I began doing characters, it was all about the impersonations and imitations. That still works great at parties, but now in the real working world, I mostly step into new characters that are created for a specific purpose. The unorganized dad, the inept doctor, the unreasonable boss or jittery employee, the mad scientist, the stereotypical slimy politician. If you have a specific need for something out in left field, let me take a crack at it!

I have 25 + years of national and regional voice over for commercials, TV and radio promo, training videos, e-learning, focus group videos, business explainer videos, exhibition videos, etc. Documentary style narration, characters and more. My training currently includes extensive coaching with Dave Walsh and his True Tell Method. I've also trained through Marice Tobias Commercial and Narration Voice over seminars, David Lyerly coaching, Steve Reisberg coaching, and SAG-AFTRA Foundation Voiceover Workshops. I am continuously looking to evolve and improve my technique through some of the finest coaches anywhere. I also teach a voice over class twice a semester for beginning students at St. Louis Community College. I have a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa.
