Mike Doerner

Mike Doerner took German for six years in high school and college, plus a year each of Spanish and French. Mike taught himself Russian when learning to play the balalaika some years ago, so he is familiar with the sounds of these languages, and is able to do the accents in English. He can also do convincing Australian, Irish, and British accents (i.e. London, Cockney, and Liverpool). Growing up in the US Mid-Atlantic region, Mike has no discernable accent or dialect, but living in the South for decades has taught him various accents and dialects particular to Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Alabama. Mike can be the guy next door, corporate CEO, anxious dad, cowboy, doctor, big ironic announcer guy, and anyone else you need him to be.
