The son of a 70's radio DJ, I've been around microphones, compressors, and mixing consoles my entire life. I did my first commercial when I was only 8 years old and continued pursuing acting until I hit my big voice-over break in 2004 doing national commercials for the US army. Since then I've had the privilege of working with great agencies and national brands such as McDonald's, AT&T, TBS, NBA, Guitar Center, Verizon Wireless, USAA, Bush's Beans, Melrose as well as regional and local brands such as Whataburger, HEB, San Antonio SSE, South Padre Island Tourism, Texas Lottery, Texas Department of Transportation, Cleartalk Wireless, Stripes Stores, and countless more. While I mostly do commercial work these days, I love stretching my acting muscles and getting into character roles for other projects.
I studied acting in school with some amazing instructors and regularly held lead roles in plays throughout high school. During college I studied recording and engineering studio sessions, which landed me a job at a local studio from 2007 to 2011, where I managed sessions and better learned the technical side of the craft, such as mic placement, proximity, but I also learned the things you don't hear when the talkback switch is off; what the client wants, where to put emphasis, the "how it's said" versus the "what is said". I feel this experience gives me more of an edge in getting to the desired delivery in as few takes as possible.
