Michele LaFountain is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico. A lot of her voiceover work has gone hand in hand with her two decades as a sports broadcaster, mostly in Spanish but also in English. As the play-by-play announcer for women's basketball and softball games, among other sports, for ESPN Deportes, she would also read the commercial sponsorships throughout the transmissions for brands such as Taco Bell. She has also recorded some commercial VOs in her native San Juan as well as New York City. Since the start of 2023, Michele has hosted a weekly Spanish-language podcast along with two co-hosts; the podcast was strictly audio the entire first year. Also, she has experience recording audiobooks, which she did for several years as a volunteer for Learning Ally - formerly known as Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic.
