My main experience is in audiobooks (volunteer for LibriVox) and dialogues for educational purposes (language teaching).
I gained my knowledge about voice recording working on educational materials in a language-teaching department at the University of Minnesota 2002-2010. I have received help professionalizing my work through my volunteer work for LibriVox, where I have recorded material in English, German, Dutch, and French.
Home studio equipment:
Recording software: Windows PC with Audacity (1.3 Beta)
Microphone: Samson Q1U with pop filter
Audio formats: MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, WMA, AAC, OGG, AUP (Audacity Projects)
I can deliver ready voice files, professionally edited and noise-cleaned in practically any digital audio format, though MP3 is preferred. (Sorry, I do not provide full-service audio engineering.)
