Michael spent many decades in the field of sound and production in television and film. He is very comfortable with the requirements of recording voiceover and producing professional audio, including mixing and production, and has a deep toolbox and varied skillset.
Michael has also used that skillset to shoot, edit and otherwise produce a video web-series on the building of his acoustically isolated voiceover studio. He gutted a room in his house and built it from scratch. Having spent an adult lifetime in media production, learning to video edit in Da Vinci Resolve was both creatively rewarding and a natural transition into the world of video. Michael's series is hosted on his Youtube channel Sound Sense, here:

He has trained with preeminent voiceover coach Nancy Wolfson, in her Commercial curriculum, as well as taken many courses and seminars on the art of voiceover. Michael records from his acoustically sound home studio, equipped with a Microtech Gefell M930 studio condenser, through a Universal Audio Apollo Twin preamp, recording and editing in Logic ProX.
