Most every job I have had has involved me using my voice. From waiting tables, to door to door fundraising, to phone sales, I have used my voice to explain and convince people to do certain things. Whether it is building a "relationship" with a table to get a better tip, or convincing someone to contribute to save the environment by educating them, my voice is what did it. Thoughout all of these jobs, many people have told me to put my voice to good use, and I think its about time I did.
Having always used my voice in my jobs I have learned how to use my voice to my advantage. The subtlties to speaking are often times more important than what is actually said. A pause here, could mean the difference one way or the other, depending on each individual situation. I recently took an intro-seminar for Voiceover with the Commercial Clinic in San Diego, and that just fueled my interest. Since than I have been scouring the internet for information about voice over, so I can better myself.
