My natural voice is a traditional Lancashire accent, with more 'nowts' and 'owts' than you can shake a stick at! However, aside from my natural brogue, my voice is able to travel the British Isles, being as scouse as 'ya like mate', before taking in the deep valleys and high peaks of Wales then crossing the Avon for a Bristol burr in any register. Travelling east my vocal chords adapt to the green and pleasant shires of Devon, Cornwall and Wilshire before finally shaking the soil off its' boots and entering London. Here my voice can really go to town taking in all the avenues and alleyways of the Metropolis, East, West, North, South and also enough upperclass tones to fill the Houses of Parliament. Heading back up North it takes in all the many and varied accents of the Midlands and Black Country, including Brummie and even the crazy voices found around Burton-on-Trent. Next we take in the brown mucky tones of Yorkshire and crossing the pennines in either direction shows the ease with which I can slip into Manc or Geordie. Next over Hadrians Wall to Scotland, for acccents as rich and varied as the Highlands, islands and lowlands of that marvellous land! Finally we cross the Irish Sea for a range of warm and mellifluous emerald tones that range from the harsh North to the Sweet South. Oh I can also do American, Aussie and lots of others, but I'm sure that you don't wanna travel the whole globe with me? Are you still with me? Good!
