In 2007, I impersonated Jimmy Stewart for a stamp unveiling. Leading up to the unveiling, I appeared at area radio and TV stations, in character, and performed as Jimmy Stewart during a lead-up skit preceding the stamp unveiling. During the early 1980s, I worked at WHO-AM in Des Moines as a newscaster/sportscaster, with sports talk show hosting and basketball play-by-play responsibilities thrown in. I worked in news and sports part-time at several radio stations during my undergraduate days at the University of Missouri, and performed as the public address announcer for my high school boys' basketball team during my senior year in high school. 1998--MBA, Western Michigan University 1985--M.A., public relations, Ball State University 1980--B.A., broadcast journalism, University of Missouri No studio equipment on my personal premises. Worked seven years in public relations at advertising agencies in Indiana, New York and Michigan. Responsibilities included writing and submitting news releases and case history articles to industrially-oriented trade publications.
