As a first-generation South American who grew up in the vibrant New York City area, I embarked on my career in the music industry through NYC radio. My experiences included producing shows and leading media campaigns for esteemed stations such as La Mega 97.9 FM, Hot 97, and Sirius XM’s Shade45. This journey led me to co-found the Sorority of Hip Hop, a pioneering all-female music blog, aimed at empowering women by providing them with the necessary skills to conduct interviews, write compelling blogs, and produce their own radio and TV shows. Through this initiative, I interviewed the biggest acts in the Latin and Hip Hop genres at the time, created a platform for upcoming talent to show case themselves, and also played a vital role in guiding college interns towards obtaining valuable credits and unlocking job opportunities within the music industry.
Throughout my professional trajectory, I have curated and consulted on media campaigns for diverse entities, including large corporate brands like Tidal, Leica, LG, and Polaroid, small businesses, artists, media personalities, and more. This has allowed me to build strong relationships with influencers, social media platforms, publications, podcasts, hosts/DJs, national radio, award shows, digital streaming platforms, and record labels. Additionally, my bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish has been instrumental in bridging cultural gaps and fostering collaborations in the Latin market.
