I am a passionate and versatile storyteller with a masters degree in voice performance and a lifelong love of languages. I crave getting my hands on characters that deliver strong emotions to the listener, whether it's joy, sorrow, or laughter. I have a weak spot for villains, feisty heroines, and challenging relationship dynamics, but I also adore larger than life comedic characters.
I earned my BFA in Voice Performance from Carnegie Mellon University (2010) and my MM in Voice Performance from Florida State (2019). In between, I held a wide range of jobs, including teaching early childhood music, leading the soprano section for various choirs, singing with the Pittsburgh Opera chorus (along with other local opera companies). Now, I've expanded my repertoire to include voiceover for theater, film, radio, and podcasts and narrating audiobooks.
I record with an AudioTechnica AT2020 condenser mic and FocusRite Scarlett interface in a treated studio space. I've worked with authors Angel M. Shaw and Paul Bauman reading excerpts from their novels, and I am currently producing Phoenix Wolfe's breakout Shattered Trilogy, starting with Shattered Lives, set to release this fall.
I absolutely love learning new things, especially history and anthropology, psychology, and linguistics. I have studied 4 different languages (French, German, Italian, and Swedish), and have sung in over 10. In my spare time, I'm an avid reader (switching among non-fiction, romance, and fantasy), a video gamer, and a D&D player.
