Experience, training, and equipment
I have experience from live broadcast television, news writing, telephone IVR, animation video, explainer video, corporate narration, TV and radio commercials and more. My public speaking experience and broadcast experience has trained my voice to sound clear and confident, however the relevant sounds on YouTube has enabled me to create adventure travel, professional and animation voiceovers.
Most recently, I created a total package for a yacht building company in Florida that included script writing, music selection, editing, voiceover for a YouTube channel which has helped the brand to get noticed.
My degree is a BS in Psychology which has served me well while dealing with all levels of management, professional and creative professionals. My experience as an intern and then Cable television reporter at KDCI was exciting and allowed my creative side to really shine.
In addition to my classic education, I was able to be the on camera spokesperson for the American Red Cross Blood Services in San Diego which led me to a second career in TV and radio broadcasting where I worked with Daniel's Cablesvision. There I wrote scripts, created voiceovers and trained in the news business.
I believe staying relevant and current is critical for all clients. I am receiving ongoing coaching in order to keep my skills fresh.
My equipment is new and updated with any means of delivering a professionally produced product. My studio includes a MacPro, Focusrite USB audio interface, Sennheiser e835 microphone with windscreen pop filter and professional grade acoustic sound booth treatments. The sound is clear and warm.
The best thing about the creative industry, are the people. I have learned to be professional, timely, organized, flexible and personable to everyone at every level. My career choices and experiences, in addition to family values, has allowed me to learn and grow as a professional every day.
The client should always feel confident about the message, product or project. This is where my skills as a professional and voiceover talent can help with your end goals.
