Melinda Ostrander-Aviles

In the past I have recorded voice mail greetings for my entire company. I was told that I had a "sexy" and nice pleasant voice and was asked by the management to record greetings for everyone. I began my undergraduate training in music at the New England Conservatory. I worked as a professional symphonic musician, as a flutist. I have worked in the theatre industry for touring theatre productions, as a musician and company member, and also in the travel industry as a tour guide. I have also studied arts management and education on the graduate level. I have studied medical and legal terminology and computer technology. I have done some recording in music as well. I have also taught music, computers, medical billing, reading and water aerobics. I participate in a verbal networking group on the internet. My breath control and phrasing is excellent as it was part of my musical studies and career. I have quite a bit of education in various areas. I am a quick study, and I feel that I speak and write well. I have a "good ear." I have no noticeable accent and I am very articulate, and a good reader.
